Tim took on the challenging task of converting a Victorian town house in need of modernisation and adaptation. The work involved laying solid oak flooring throughout the living area and entrance, slate tiles in new kitchen, new annexe, shower and toilet area. The living area is divided by glass doors. There is a feature fireplace in red brick with a log burning stove. A large patio was laid at the back of the house leading to the garden with big feature stone slabs. All work was carried out to a very high standard.

T J Cooke Building Contractors carried out refurbishments to our bungalow including a kitchen extension and replacing an existing flat roof extension with a pitched roof and upgrading the building to integrate it sympathetically with the rest of the building. The quality of his work is excellent and his charges very reasonable. Tim is knowledgeable and saved us money by making suggestions as the work progressed. He is committed to his work, has high standards and is very professional in his approach to both his work and his customers.

I found Tim to be committed to completing the job in a considerate manner with care and understanding of the tasks involved. The work involved two small extensions, one of which involved removing and rebuilding, to incorporate new beams, the rear corner of the house. The quality of the work was good, and he completed it on time, at a reasonable cost.

We now have a beautiful gravelled parking area and paved hardstanding and have had a number of compliments from passers-by already! We hired Tim to do our back-garden patio. From start to finish this guy delivered. The standard of work and attention to detail was second to none. We hired Tim to knock through an internal wall back in 2015 to turn our kitchen into an open plan kitchen diner.
